Barbara laps the lough
BARBARA Girvan of Love for Life got on her bike recently to raise some money for the charity.
On August 26 Barbara completed the Lap the Lough challenge, raising £1,600 in the process along with three friends.
Barbara said: “We couldn’t have asked for a better day. I really enjoyed it even though it’s such a long way. They say it’s 85 miles but my wee clock said 87.”
She added: “I’d never done more than 10 miles before I signed up. I just built it up since Easter.”
