‘Be Gleeful’ drama camp

C21 Theatre company is usually associated with the local Christmas productions in Ballymena’s Braid Arts Centre.

However, after a successful summer in 2011 with the first ever ‘Be Gleeful’, the company is delighted to be back with ‘Be Gleeful 2’

Creative Producer and actor Stephen Kelly, along with choreographers, will oversee ‘Be Gleeful 2’ dance and drama summer camp from July 16-20 at St McNissi’s Parish Centre, Randalstown.

The camps are for ages seven to 12 and will run for one week specialising in dancing and acting.

Every day from 10am, the participants take part in a variety of activities aimed at improving their skills. The week will conclude with a final performance.

So if you are a ‘Glee’ or ‘High School Musical’ fan then this could be for you!

Stephen is looking forward to returning to Randalstown with the popular camp:

“As professional Actors and Choreographers, we have years of experience in the theatre, TV and film industry.

In the last four years c21 have produced the major hit Christmas shows in Ballymena including Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel and Sleeping Beauty,” Stephen said.

He added: “You don’t have to have any experience at all to be part of our camps and if you do, come along and let us build on your experience. We don’t expect perfection; we only expect that you have a fun time.”
