THE North Coast Association of the National Trust continues its spring lecture series on Tuesday, March 5 AT 8pm when Sandy Smith will talk on C. S. Lewis and Belfast, the city of his birth.

Sandy is an engineer by training and taught in the University of Ulster for ten years, before joining the Northern Ireland Civil Service as an Inspector in the Department of Education.

In 2002 he became Director General with the International Fund for Ireland and is currently Chairman of the Board of Enterprise Northern Ireland.

Throughout his career he has sustained a lifelong interest in the life and writing of C.S. Lewis and has developed a popular C. S. Lewis lecture tour in Belfast, which Association members will have the opportunity to take in April. Sandy is also Director of the C. S. Lewis Centre at Belmont Tower.

The talk takes place in the Magherabuoy House Hotel, Portrush. All are, of course, welcome. Cost of admission (payable at the door) is £4.00 and includes tea/coffee and biscuits after the talk.
