The BID for Business event in the Adair Arms Hotel will look at how to get the most from the internet in a focused and profitable way and explain the need to start with the customer and work backwards from that.

The keynote speaker will be Gareth Dunlop, CEO of Fathom, which he set up to advise companies on how to get the most from the internet by seeing the world from the perspective of their customers.

Gareth advises a wide range of clients on Internet strategy and best practice. In addition, he writes and lectures extensively on Internet related matters as well as speaking regularly for Ulster University, Digital Marketing Institute, Irish Times and Sure Skills.

Alison Moore, Ballymena BID manager said: “This particular event will be a great opportunity for local businesses to really find out how best to use the Internet to benefit their businesses and will give an insight into how the world’s most successful digital products such as Google, WhatsApp and Amazon work. By having the opportunity for Gareth to present directly to us, attendees will be able to take away practical hints and tips about how to get the most from the Internet and how to then implement them into their own business.”

The event is free to Chamber and Ballymena BID members, £10 to non members. Confirm attendance to [email protected] by April 4.
