Care for someone with dementia?

Do you live in the Ballymoney or the surrounding area and care for someone with dementia?

The Causeway branch of the Alzheimer’s Society is pleased to announce the relocation of a support group for people who care for loved ones who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.

The support group will offer an opportunity for family carers to meet other carers in similar situations to share their experiences and concerns in an understanding, safe, private and confidential setting.

The areas’ Support Worker Helen Taylor will also be present at each meeting to facilitate and offer information, signposting and support to all carers however, Helen stresses that this is a support group for carers and it will be the carer ultimately who will point the group in the direction that they want the group to take.

The first meeting of this group will take place on Tuesday 27th January 2015 in McArthur Room, Ballymoney Town Hall, Townhead Street Ballymoney beginning at 2.30pm.

So why not come along?
