Carrick College students broaden their horizons
TWO Carrickfergus College students were among the leaders at the successful ‘New Horizon’ event in Coleraine last week.
Jordan Fitzsimmons and Elizabeth Clarke volunteered at the week-long Christian conference held in the grounds of the University of Ulster and involved themselves fully in the various activities.
Both girls decided to be involved to show, in a practical way, their commitment to their Christian faith.
Teachers and pupils at Carrick College will gain from their experience when the girls take up their positions on the school’s Christian Union committee in September.
