Casting call for teen actors

Ever Unique Productions is an educational theatre company, committed to building young people’s resilience and confidence. During lockdown, they have continued to be creative by running online workshops and projects for young people all across Northern Ireland

They are now looking for young people aged 13-18 years to be in their upcoming Zoom production of TEEN, written by Kristen Doherty.

TEEN examines social and emotional issues faced by contemporary teenagers, such as body image, peer group pressure, jealousy, unrequited love, anxiety, friendship struggles, sexuality, relationships with parents.

Every scene is based on real life accounts and events - some funny, some challenging, some heartbreaking, but all real. This performance will be directed by industry professionals Hannah Reilly and Martina McAfee whose credits include work with The Mac, The Brian Friel Theatre and Belvoir Theatres.

Auditions will take place on March 29 and 30. If successful in casting, rehearsals will be on Thursdays from 6-8pm starting April 15 and running for nine weeks. The final online performance will be on June 18.
