Causeway Craft Fair

Can Can Recycling are holding a vintage and handmade craft fair to be held at the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine on Saturday 11th June 2011 from 10am to 4pm, to launch their new project Can Can Upcycle and to bring together local people with a talent for creating or a keen eye for unique and individual items.

The exciting new project is a branch from the Can Can Recycling social enterprise for people with learning disabilities in the Causeway area and beyond.

Clare Carson of Can Can Recycling explained that “whilst researching outlets for our up cycled items we discovered that there are dozens of vintage and craft events occurring weekly in Belfast.

As a result, we decided to hold a craft fair with a difference “

The Causeway Bazaar” for crafters in the North Coast area, which will allow us to bring together kindred spirits involved in vintage, upcycling, recycling, artisan creations, crafts and handmade items”.
