Causeway Mobility moves to new premise at Lodge Health

Causeway Mobility Centre has moved into new premises at Lodge Health, one of Coleraine’s foremost health practices.

With its extensive range of mobility equipment and an ongoing emphasis on personal service, advice and consultation, Causeway Mobility Centre’s aim is to help its customers to live independently. Moving into Lodge Health brings its services into a convenient central location with more space to display their ever-expanding range of high quality aids and equipment. Lodge Health is located at Lodge Manor, halfway along Lodge Road, one of the main roads into Coleraine town centre.

Owner Gerry McEwan is delighted with the move. “I think this will be great for our customers whether they are patients at Lodge Health or not. It’s an excellent location and hopefully more convenient for most people.”

Causeway Mobility Centre will be open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am – 4pm and on Tuesdays by appointment. If only weekends or evenings are suitable, please call as alternative arrangements may be possible. Home demonstrations of large items such as scooters, powerchairs or riser-recline armchairs can be arranged over the phone, as can stairlift assessments and quotations.

At the new showroom you can see and try a wide range of electric profiling beds, wheelchairs, scooters, powerchairs and walking aids. There are bathing and toilet aids and a range of household, kitchen and dressing aids on display. If you have difficulty with any task at home, ask for advice – there may be a clever gadget available that you never knew existed.

Ask about Causeway Mobility’s new “Stay in Your Own Home” consultation service. One of the biggest dilemmas of later life may be the choice between going into residential care or staying in your own home. Causeway Mobility can help you stay in your own home longer with the help of the right equipment and advice.

Gerry explained, “The thought of leaving a home that you’re familiar with can be daunting for a lot of older people. With the right planning, advice and equipment that decision can often be delayed – and we can help. Just don’t leave it till it’s too late, please ask.”

Consultation and advice before buying means you’ll get the right product for whatever daily living problem you might have, and purchase from Causeway Mobility Centre comes with the excellent after-sales service you have the right to expect.

“You can buy things cheaply on the internet,” says Gerry, “but is it right for you? Will it be built and ready to use and will you be shown how to use it? What happens if something goes wrong, will they fly over to fix it or do you have to ship it back to them. Buying from the internet is only cheaper if you’re absolutely certain it’s the right thing and it doesn’t break down. If you buy from us we try to make sure it’s right from the start and if there’s any problem we’re round the corner.”

Visit Causeway Mobility Centre, now at Lodge Health. Call in during opening hours or phone them 9am to 8pm on 7035 8866.
