Dr Frank Ferguson, director of the centre for Irish and Scottish studies, will be marking Burns Night on Monday, January 25 at 7.30pm with his talk ‘The Ulster Scots Burns Night Tradition’ which celebrates the great Scottish bard, Robert Burns’ 262nd birthday.

The evening will be a lively night of poetry and stories about Scotland’s greatest literary export and the chance to learn more about the Burns night tradition. Feel free to have your own haggis, neeps and tatties at hand, and of course a dram of your choosing to toast Scotland’s Bard.
