Chamber hosts Bank of England agent

The visit gave Chamber members a chance to attend a business lunch. At the lunch members were briefed on the latest economic forecast and given an insight into the Bank’s current thinking on the Monetary Policy

Participants spoke enthusiastically of the value of the information received from the presentation and highlighted particularly their appreciation for the updates from Frances and indeed the fantastic opportunity to network with many other businesses from across the borough.

Chamber Operations Manager, Annette Deighan added, “In today’s economic climate, it is becoming increasingly important for local businesses to be fully aware of economic trends to assist them in their forward planning.

“We now trade within a global economy and timely information is a valuable tool for any business”.
