Charity draw open to Ballymoney residents

As a final push to raise more than £10,000 for Clic Sargent in 2014, local natural gas supplier, firmus energy, is holding a special Christmas draw, which is open for all of the community to enter. There are great prizes up for grabs including a 50” TV and two iPads - just in time for Christmas.

Angeline Murphy, from firmus energy, explains: “We are well on our way to reach our target of £10,000 but just need that final push to take us over the edge! The fundraising team thought it would be a good idea to open up the chance to win these fantastic prizes to the local community where we supply natural gas. You don’t need to be a firmus energy customer to buy a ticket though – this is open to everyone!

“firmus energy is matching, pound for pound, the money that we raise from the sale of the tickets and we hope that we are able to boost our donation by a significant amount, handing even more money over to Clic Sargent, which carries out vital work supporting children affected by cancer and their families. We have been raising money throughout the year for the charity by baking buns, running marathons, social events, quizzes and much more!

“Anyone wishing to buy a raffle ticket for this charity draw can do so by contacting the firmus energy switchboard on 0800 032 4567. Tickets cost £10 each and as well as TVs and iPads, there are many other fantastic prizes to be won. Best of luck everyone!”

The draw will take place on Tuesday 23rd December and firmus energy will endeavour to deliver the top prizes in time for Christmas. Other prizes will be distributed in January 2015.
