Christina’s bid for glory

The 20-year-old from Lakelands was crowned Face of NI in August and has been counting down the days to the gala pageant at Disneyland Paris.

The former St Brendan’s and Lismore pupil currently attends Queen’s University where she is in her final year of Drama and Film Studies.

She said: “I fly out to Folkestone in England at 6am on Sunday morning. We’re there for two days for judging before going to Disneyland for the main event.

“We get a free day in Disneyland the day after we arrive so that should be fun.”

Christina added: “I would love to win and I’m really, really excited about it. I’m still proud to get as far as I have so if I don’t win I’m sure I’ll still have a really good time.”

The Craigavon girl thanked her sponsors Angelhair and Allure who will play their part in making sure Christina looks her best for the ceremony.
