The whispers of Cinderella began to circulate at Lisnagarvey High School last Christmas – with much excitement and anticipation from pupils.

Rehearsals started over eight months ago and this is where they discovered the hidden talents in Lisnagarvey.

A spokesman for the production team said: “We were really blown away during the auditions. Firstly, thank you to the parents and pupils of Lisnagarvey, who have helped us in sourcing costumes and props - as well as picking up pupils after long hours of rehearsals.

“You are all huge contributors to the success of the show.

“Secondly, the sincerest of thanks goes to Mr Sheerin and all staff members who have been involved in helping us on our journey.

“Finally, we owe a huge thank you to our wonderful cast, who have worked hard and given 100%.

“We have seen everyone’s confidence soar especially in the final few weeks. It genuinely has been a pleasure working with you all and we hope you enjoyed it too.

“ We have a really talented bunch of stars – Well done everyone!

“A couple of weeks ago we were asked if we were under pressure. The answer was simple…no! The rehearsal process has been stress- free, thanks to the dedication of our wonderful cast.”
