Cinderella’s glass slipper fits Natasha!

A former pupil of Ballymoney’s Northern Regional College, has landed the starring role in the much loved pantomime “Cinderella” to be staged for 71 shows this Christmas and New Year at the Custom House Theatre in South Shields, near Newcastle upon Tyne.

Twenty-one-year-old Natasha Magee, daughter of country singing star, Curtis, studied performing arts at Ballymoney before heading to the North of England to take a degree in performance live and recorded media at Middlesborough University.

Natasha was cast in the role of Baroness Schraeder in The Sound of Music earlier this year where many described her performance as outstanding.

For a 21 year old to act the part of a sophisticated older woman as well as Natasha did was no mean achievement and was surely what put her on the road to
success.

From her early school days, Natasha’s heart was always in acting and singing and whilst she is no stranger to pantomimes and musicals staged in her hometown of Coleraine, this is her first lead role in a professional
capacity.

There is not doubt however, that this will not be her last and Natasha’s name will continue to light up the boards outside of theatres up and down the country.
