Cloughmills dance

CLOUGHMILLS St Vincent de Paul are holding a Tea Dance in Cloughmills Community Centre on Friday June 17 (8pm).

Admission is £5 and music is by Richmond Country.

Exhibition

BALLYMONEY Photographic Club are running their annual print exhibition in Ballymoney Town Hall.

The exhibition runs until Friday, July 1 and opening hours are:

Monday to Thursday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Some excellent pictures will be on display and the organisers are hoping for a good turn out from the general public.

Annual barbecue

THE annual barbecue organised by the Moyle and District Support Group of Marie Curie Cancer Care will take place at Kerrsbrook, Clintyfinnan Road, Armoy, on June 17 starting at 8 p.m.

This event is a good source of revenue for the local Marie Curie group who have raised tens of thousands for the charity in recent years.

Tickets cost £10 and in addition to a good steak meal, there’s dancing to Legacy and Brassnecks.

Tickets are available from members and organisers are grateful to Mr. James McMullan for the use of his property.

MacFest tickets

The organisers of MacFest have announced that tickets are ‘going fast’ for this year’s festival.

This is the second year for the charity festival and the line up keeps getting stronger and stronger. With 20 acts performing over two stages including heavy weights such as: Swanee River, Triggerman, Furlo, Intermission and many others this year’s event plans to be one, not to be missed.

The festival is taking place on the 18th June at McMillan’s Farm, Ballymoney. Tickets are £15 each which includes camping and parking with all profits going to charity (CF Trust).

Flute tuition

Tuition in flute and drum continues at Garryduff Independent Orange Hall. The classes are each Thursday night and start at 8pm.

Students of all abilities or with no previous experience will be made most welcome. These classes are being supported financially by the Ulster Scots Agency.

Tuition classes

Craiganee Accordion Band are offering Accordion and Drumming Tuition Classes in Ballinlea Orange Hall on a Monday night from 7 - 9pm.

Dunaghy flute band, in conjunction with the ulster scots agency, is holding a series of traditional ulster scots flute and drum tution sessions in the Glendinning Hall, Dunaghy, Ballymoney each Wednesday night from 7 - 9pm.
