Cloughmills Summer Festival and June Fair 2011

The Cloughmills Summer Festival and June Fair 2011 is taking place from Monday 20th to Saturday 25th June.

Organised by Cloughmills Community Action Team the programme includes a 3 Mile Family Fun Run (20th June), a Celebrity Cookery Demonstration by BBC chef, Paula McIntyre using local produce from the Cloughmills Community Allotment at the new Community Centre (21st June), a special musical performance by Beyond Skin with pupils from the local schools at Cloughmills Primary School (22nd June), a Girls 5-a-side football competition (23rd June) and a Family Treasure Hunt around the village (24th June). The Festival concludes on Saturday 25th June with the 3rd Annual June Fair – a family fun day with a range of games, craft stalls, music and food for everyone.

“The June Fair will feature activities suitable for all ages, kids can enjoy themselves on the inflatable mega slide and bouncy castles, mum and dad can try out the tastes of the world or browse the craft stalls, granny and granddad can watch the cultural dances and music and kids of all ages can try their hand at the climbing wall! The Fair is a great day out for all the family and a great opportunity for people to come and visit Cloughmills.
