Clydesdale foal show postponed

The Office Bearers and Committee of the County Londonderry Horse Breeding Society have taken the decision to postpone this year’s Clydesdale Foal Show, due to be held on Saturday, December 12.

This decision has been taken due to the ongoing uncertainty and the increasing of government restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

A spokespersoon said: “The President, Chairman, Secretary and Foal Show/CLHBS Committee members are in agreement that this decision had to be made in the interest of Health & Safety of not only our members, exhibitors and spectators, but our families, friends and fellow Clydesdale enthusiasts who attend annually from all parts of Great Britain and Ireland.

“The Society is indebted to all who support our popular Foal Show year on year and make it the success that it is.

“The CLHBS will review the situation again, in the hope of holding the event in early 2021.”
