Come along to Waringstown quiz

Waringstown Historical Society (WHS) is celebrating the launch of its 2016 calendar with a table quiz on Thursday, November 5 at 8pm in the Village Inn.

WHS was set up in 2013 by Waringstown Community Development Association to bring people together to enjoy the history and built environment of the area. It meets regularly with invited speakers, outings and events.

This year WHS has created a calendar featuring views of Waringstown over the years.

“Everyone is welcome to come along. The calendar will be on sale and the 2016 programme for the Historical Society will also be announced,” says a spokesperson.

“Entrance is £3 per person and up to six people can be in a team. Don’t worry if you don’t have six people as tables can be made up.”
