Come and see the animals at Leslie Hill Open Farm

Mrs Wallaby has had a lovely ‘Joey’ (the proper name for baby wallabies) who is now free from his mother and growing fast.

The Sika deer have some young and one of the Llamas has a very sweet black and white youngster.

‘Hetty’ the Highland cow with her black calf is parade together with Basil the noisy donkey.

Add to these are the usual assortment of rabbits, guinea pigs, pheasants, ducks, hens, geese and chicks plus there is lots and lots more to see.

* Leslie Hill parkland, heritage collection and the open farm were officially revealed to the public in 1989 and it was the family’s intention to conserve many aspects of the past and to give their visitors the opportunity to share all that this unique place has to offer.

Leslie Hill House is a fine example of a Georgian House built in 1756 by James Leslie and forms the centrepiece of a working open farm, woodland and heritage collection. The house is set in mature parkland with views of the Sperrins.
