Councillor joins Special Olympics training

Independent Councillor Angela Mulholland was delighted to join the Ballymoney Special Olympics Swimming team for their first training session since restrictions have been lifted.

The six-week programme takes place at the Whiterocks, Portrush every Tuesday and is aimed at helping to build up the athletes fitness as they have been unable to train together for over a year due to Covid restrictions.

Councillor Mulholland said ‘it was such a positive move for this wee club coming out of lockdown’.
