Craigavon Music Fest

YOU may be feeling that the summer months went by way too fast, but don’t worry the summer’s not over yet.

There is still plenty of time left to enjoy live music, food and fun with the Craigavon Music Fest.

The three day music event takes place from September 6 to 8 across Lurgan, Central Craigavon and Portadown. Organised by Craigavon Borough Council this event has been managed by the PEACE III Southern Partnership’s Future Foundations priority and supported by the European Union’s PEACE III Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.

With performances from locally and nationally acclaimed artists including Microlip, Swingabella, James Huish and Flash Harry it promises to be an event not to be missed.

It kicks off at Brownlow Community Hub on Thursday night and is then followed by two evenings of superb live open air shows on the Town Centre Plazas in Lurgan on Friday night and Portadown on Saturday night.

Councillor Darryn Causby, Chair of Development Committee, said: “The start of September still feels like summer and what a great way to bring it to an end than with a three day music fest. There is a superb line up of artists and with such a variety of different music genres there will be something for everyone. Good music, good food and hopefully good weather what better way to spend an evening.”
