Curtis Magee’s Fanfayre rolls into Coleraine!

COUNTRY star Curtis Magee will bring his Fanfayre to thE Lodge Hotel later this month.

The now in its sixth year, the Fanfayre will take place from Sunday, June 19 to Wednesday June 22.

Following on from the success of the past five years, this successful event will once again see fans, friends and followers of the likeable singer descend into the town from all over the UK and Ireland

Curtis says that people continue to return each year having had such a great time at the previous other years Fanfayres.

“Apart from the all the music and entertainment that goes on each night, we arrange coach trips out during the day to all the local beauty spots and tourist attractions, such as the Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, and trips around the North Antrim Coast and the Green Glens of Antrim, “ said Curtis.

Each night there will be music and dancing from 9pm and as always there’s a host of stars joning the Coleraine singer.

On Sunday, June 19th Curtis will be joined on stage by the multi talented Johnny ‘Fingers’ McHugh, Billy McFarland and ‘Country Features’ with resident compere and comedian Gary Wilson.

Monday, June 20th sees an array of stars join Curtis. The ‘wee man from Strabane’ aka Hugo Duncan will perform alongside ‘Country Harmony’, Bonnie Stewart, Johnny ‘Fingers’ McHugh and Gary Wilson.

On Tuesday, June 21st Curtis welcomes to the stage the new female star of country music, Lisa McHugh, who is presently making a big name for herself on the circuit, both here in Ireland and across the water in the UK. Also on stage will be the very popular Shawn Cuddy plus ‘Country Harmony’, Johnny ‘Fingers’ McHugh and Gary Wilson.

Wednesday, June 22nd is the big farewell party night, and there will be a family flavour, as Curtis will be joined by his daughters Natasha and Shannon. Natasha has already released her first CD - “Everything that Glitters”

Also on stage will be husband and wife duo Paul and Mary B Gallagher from Donegal plus the ever popular ‘Boxcar Brian’ along with Johnny ‘Fingers’ McHugh.

Admission is £10 and you can pay at the door each night. Alternatively there is a special four-day ticket available priced at £25. Tickets can be purchased from the Lodge Hotel.

Doors open at 8.30pm, and dancing is from 9pm till 1am each night.
