Dalriada fight goes on as last users leave MS unit

Mervyn Hynman from Magherafelt and Coleraine man Francis Hunter left the MS respite unit at Dalriada Hospital yesterday (Thursday) – the last to use the facility.

The news comes despite an eight-week consultation into its future came to an end, with no admissions in the meantime.

Mr Hunter, 55, said last night: “It stinks – it’s horrible the way they can play with people’s lives.”
