Dalriada tour

Lying off the Northern Irish coast at Ballycastle, Rathlin Island boasts ancient history, unique wildlife and spectacular scenery.

And yet relatively few people have travelled there. Now is your chance as the North Antrim Dalriada Group launches the latest of its popular Annual Tours. This – the 8th in the series – visits the Island for a guided tour, delivered this year by former Rathlin resident, Patrick O’Donnell.

The tour will visit sites around Church Bay, followed by a bus trip to the East and West Lighthouses and there may be some time to take in the wild bird sanctuary. There are tales of Robert the Bruce, of Viking raids and of shipwreck off the stormy coast and you can keep your eyes open for the famous Rathlin Golden Hare. It’s too good a trip to miss and a great day out.
