December events in Ballymena & District

Ballymena Church Members Forum have again organised a series of Advent reflection services on four Wednesday mornings in December from 12.30-1.15 pm.

The first service is on December 2 in St Patrick’s, followed on December 9 in West Church, then December 16 in Ballymena Methodist and December 23 in All Saints. Light refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome at any or all of the services.

Meanwhile, West Church are planning to hold a Christmas Ball on Thursday, December 3, at 7.30 pm in the Ross Park Hotel. Tickets for this event, which will be in aid of the Barnabas Fund to help Christian refugees in Syrian, are available from Rev Jared Stephens or the church office with a suggested donation of £27.

On Sunday, December 13, Montgomery’s coffee shop on Ballymena’s Ballymoney Street, will be the venue at 8.15pm, for a Carol Service.

Open to all, this event will feature the Cambridge House School Choir and Orchestra, and will take the form of a traditional carol service with carols and readings. Further details can be obtained by calling 07808 736720.
