Digishare360 Brokers Digital Technology Link with Poland

Portstewart-based digital marketing specialist, Digishare360 has been assisted by Invest Northern Ireland to develop a business partnership in Poland.

The County Londonderry company, which has developed an online marketing system which integrates email and Facebook to increase business, used Invest NI’s Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) to help in identifying potential partners in Europe. EEN is an EU funded initiative delivered by Invest NI to help local companies to explore business in Europe.

The pan-European information service offers companies an opportunity to post a profile of their business, their products and services on a database. European companies interested in doing business with them can then seek assistance to develop a relationship. Using the service Digishare360 pinpointed Wieczorek Systems in Poznan, western Poland.

The new partnership was announced by Michael Carlin, Digishare360 Managing Director, and welcomed by Dr Vicky Kell, Invest NI Trade Director.

Mr Carlin said: “Through the EEN service we were able to identify a potential business partner and request more information about company. I used this information for my initial discussions with its management which led directly to agreement to work together.

“As a result of this service Wieczorek Systems is now marketing our system throughout Poland.

“What our system does is to offer customers a fully integrated, multi-channel marketing platform for a broad range of products and services. It provides a single on-screen dashboard that customers can use to harness mobile, internet and social media to develop business in Poland.

“The EEN service has enabled us to enter the Polish market very cost-effectively and has been immensely important in providing us with a platform for expansion in this significant European market,” he added.

Dr Kell said: “EEN is an effective and low-risk means by which companies can identify good business opportunities in Europe. It’s a good first step to building business abroad. We hope that Digishare360 will follow this initial business up by visiting the market on one of the regular missions that we organise to business centres such as Warsaw and Krakow.

“Digishare360 now has a partner in this market and should grasp the opportunities that our missions provide to build on this relationship by supporting its marketing and technical support activities in Poland.”
