This year’s play is entitled “A Wake in The West” and is written by Michael J. Ginnelly.

“A Wake in The West” is a hilarious Irish 3-Act Comedy about the story of a wake which takes place in a cottage on the shores of Clew Bay, County Mayo. However this wake is like no others with everyone, including the corpse, getting in on the comedy.

The cast recently performed their production for the first time in Portstewart Presbyterian Church Hall under the skilled direction of Garvagh man and former YFCU president Adrian Cooper.

The cast are scheduled to perform “A Wake in The West” in Ballymoney High School on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th of March.

Tickets are now available and are priced at £7 (they can be purchased from any cast member or Committee Member from either Club). Please come along – a great night’s entertainment is guaranteed!
