The Church of Ireland-based group recently announced its first event of the celebration year will be a production of Aladin.

It is to be staged in the Courtyard Theatre, Ballyearl from Wednesday, January 15 January 2014 until Saturday, January 18.

Tickets for this popular family pantomime will be on sale later in the year on the Courtyard’s website.

The group is currently conducting readings prior to the start of rehearsals and would particularly like to hear from former members who would like to take part in the production or in some of the year’s other activities.

The group has been an integral part of the Parish life of Mossley since 1974 when a small group of parishioners supported by the then Rector Lesley Forsythe got together to establish the group.

The group is open to all and aims to promote fellowship. It is an active organisation within the Church of Ireland Parish of Mossley and works to engage the community.

It also offers support to many charitable organisations
through its shows.

The group meets every Wednesday at 7.30pm, in the Parish Centre Manse Road. Anyone interested in performing or working backstage is encouraged to attend.
