Duck race and barbecue at Stranocum

STRANOCUM and District Community Association are currently planning a number of events for the village in the next couple of weeks which can only provide a boost for community activity in the area.

On Monday, July 30 at 7.30 p.m. the annual duck race and walking Treasure Hunt will be held as well as a model aircraft display. Anyone interested in attending should go along to the River Bush area of the new Community Centre.

On Wednesday, August 1, the community walk will take place, again at 7.30 p.m.

Then, on Saturday, August 4 at 7.30 p.m. the popular barbecue and dance will take place at the new Community hall in the village starting at 8 p.m.

Everyone will be made welcome at all these events organised by the Association.
