Emblems of Ireland exhibition at Ballymoney Museum

A new exhibition, Emblems of Ireland, is being staged at Ballymoney Museum as part of the North East PEACE III Cultural Fusions Project.

Inspired by the Images of Ireland 1867-1916 exhibition, students from across the region have produced a body of artwork, using ceramic and

print techniques which explore contemporary identity and cultural diversity.

Working with Causeway Museum and Mid-Antrim Museum Services, the artistic response of the students reflect how they see their own identity and

that of their communities while also advocating increased understanding and respect between local communities.

Cultural Fusions is a heritage based project being delivered by Causeway Museum Service and Mid-Antrim Museums Service across the local councils

of Coleraine, Limavady, Moyle, Ballymoney, Ballymena and Larne.
