Enjoy a West End ramble on Rathlin

The Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) invites you to join their guides for a series of rambles through Kebble & Kinramer National Nature Reserve on Rathlin Island.

The guided walks will operate throughout the Spring and Summer and will showcase Rathlin’s stunning West End and its sights and sounds throughout the seasons.

The series kicks off on April 25 with an opportunity to see one of Ireland’s rarest flowers, culminating with a ‘Get Outdoors Weekend’ walking event on September 20..

Tracy Platt from NIEA said: ”The diversity of wildlife and stunning views from Kebble & Kinramer NNR make it a must visit site for any outdoors enthusiast. Bring your binoculars and cameras and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the beautiful West End of Rathlin Island through the Spring and Summer seasons.”

The walks will take place on April 25, May 16, June 14, July 15, August 9, August 29 and September 20. They will depart from Kebble & Kinramer gates at noon and last approximately three hours.

All walks are free, although normal ferry and bus charges apply.
