Over the past 40 years he has had many one person shows and his work is represented in public and private collections around the world.

With his subject matter focusing mainly on still life and landscapes, this promises to be a stunning exhibition of 60 years work which will include student work from the 1950s, drawings, oil paintings, pastels and prints.

Cathy Brown, Arts Officer with the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, said: “Richard exhibited in Clotworthy House many years ago.

“We are delighted to share his work in our new Oriel Gallery and to share in his birthday celebrations.
