Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee continues its summer programme of Historical Tours on Saturday 13 August, well-known archaeologist and author Jon Marshall, will lead a bus tour of important, seldom visited historical sites in the Ballymoney area.
This is the perfect introduction to the ancient heritage in our landscape and a chance to discover more about Stone Age tombs, ring forts, mottes, old graveyards and the people who populated this region during the last few thousand years. This tour takes place from 10.30am-4.30pm and tickets are £10 including lunch.
There are a maximum number of 30 tickets available for all of these tours so booking is advisable. Tickets are available from Tourist Information at the Town Hall 028 2766 0230.

FRIENDS of the MRI Scanner Appeal are holding a charity dance.

A Pub Quiz to raise money for local medical charity NI Chest Heart and Stroke (NICHS) is to take place at Mullaghans Bar Rasharkin on Friday 12 August at 8pm.

The quiz is being organised by Assumpta McGill from Aghadowey, Eibhlin McMullan, Rosemary O’Mullan and Veronica McKinley all from Rasharkin to raise sponsorship to take part in the charity’s Slieve Donard Challenge to support local NICHS services for people with respiratory illness, heart disease and stroke across Northern Ireland.
