Fashion back on the catwalk at Fairhill

FAIRHILL Shopping Centre will be treating customers to an afternoon of fabulous fashion and breathtaking beauty ideas when its spring/summer extravaganza takes place on Saturday, April 20.

Fashionista Maurade Whitehouse gets ready for Fairhill shopping centres Big Fashion Event which takes place in Ballymena on Saturday, April 20. The free event will showcase spring/summer fashion trends from leading Fairhill retailers during catwalk shows at 1pm and 3pm. There will also be style workshops at 2pm at which fashion merchandisers will give master classes on how to recreate key looks from the shows. The ‘Big Fashion Event’ - which was postponed due to the recent bad weather - will showcase leading style trends during an afternoon of catwalk shows and styling master classes.

Top models from the Alison Campbell Model Agency will take to the catwalk in S/S fashion for men and women from well-known Fairhill retailers including Miss Selfridge, River Island, Wallis, Next, New Look, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Clockwork Orange.

The catwalk shows will take place at 1pm and 3pm and the ‘Style Wardrobe’ will be kicking off at 2pm during which fashion merchandisers from participating stores will give master classes on how to recreate key looks.

Throughout the day models will be in shop windows, dressed in the latest styles to offer shoppers the chance to head into the stores and snap up pieces for the season ahead.

The team from Electric Chair in Ballymena will be creating catwalk ready looks, while the Boots beauty teams will be working their magic on customers with beauty make-overs.

Emma Louise Johnston will be hosting the event and giving her enviable style advice along the way.

Together these experts will take centre stage and offer hints and tips for every age, shape and size using a mix of outfits and accessories from various stores.
