Festive fun coming at Brownlow switch-on

Come along, see Santa and join in the festive family fun at the ever popular Christmas lights switch on in Brownlow!

Taking place on Wednesday, November 27 from 3.45pm to 5pm in Legahory Centre, this annual event is always a big hit with plenty of singing, dancing and good cheer to get everyone in the Christmas mood!

Enjoy a great start to the festive season with the Christmas DJ spinning the decks and playing all your favourite Christmas tunes as well and some great songs everyone can sing along to!

Local primary schools will be taking to the stage and singing some beautiful, traditional carols everyone knows and loves, while Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society (MADS) will be putting on a very special performance that will get everyone grooving!

There will also be walkabout characters including Rudolph and a snowman giving out sweets and balloon modellers making all shapes and sizes of balloons!

The main event of course will be the arrival of Santa Claus who will make a special appearance and will be greeting his ‘fans’ after the Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Mark Baxter has switched on the Christmas lights.

“This is an event not to be missed! said Mr Baxter. “The switch on at Legahory is always a fun filled event for the whole family and the atmosphere is great, so wrap up warm and join us for a great festive evening!”
