Finvoy 9th Route Boys’ Brigade display
The Chaplain of the Company, Rev Roy Gaston, acted as chairman for the evening and welcomed everybody to the display.

Hide AdThe Inspecting Officer was Mervyn Cooper, a former member and officer in the Company. The programme consisted of drill, figure marching, sketches, singing,
interspersed with PE and humorous items under the Captain Ian Bolton. Andrew Gilmore and Adam Faulkner received their President’s Badges and these were pinned on by their mothers. The Captain reported on a highly successful session in all the Battalion competitions. The Company section had won the Battalion five-a-side football. The Junior section had won the Battalion 7 aside football competition and the Anchor Boy section were runners up in the Battalion five-a-side football and fun and games.
