Finvoy YFC member takes first place in Floral Art

THE finals of the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster floral art competition took place at the Balmoral Show. Competitors put together a display to depict the theme of “A Year of Celebration”.

Under the watchful eye of judge Alan Beatty, competitors showed off their creativity and skills as they delicately placed flowers, clipped leaves and tied ribbons to their beautiful arrangements.

The theme was interpreted in many different styles.

Over 450 competitors had taken part in the floral art heats and to get to the final was a remarkable achievement and gave finalists the opportunity showcase their artistic ability at a premiere venue.
