Fun and more at Magherally Parish annual fun day

Magherally Parish Church is holding its annual family fun day on Saturday, September 7.

As well as family fun, there will be a tractor and vintage vehicle run, auction and dog show.

On the day Iveagh Movie, which is the main sponsor of the vent, will be showing movies on the small screen. Musical entertainment will be provided by Chunk of Funk with their smooth musical repertoire and The O’Connor School of Irish Dance. The fun starts at 12 noon with a children’s fancy dress parade from the church hall to the rectory grounds.

Registration for the dog show is at 12.30pm with the show commencing at 1pm sharp.

The tractor and vintage vehicle run heads off at 1.15pm from the church car park.

There will be the usual range of foods including traditional teas, barbecue, stews etc. There will be a wide variety of stalls comprising farm produce, books, cakes, white elephant and side shows including pony rides.
