Fun Day

The Bushmills, Causeway and Dunseverick Community Associations are having their first joint Fun Day on 24 September 2011 at Innisfree Farm, Causeway from 2pm - 8pm.

Please mark this on your calendars and plan to attend as there will be music, dancing, lots to see and do and fun for all the family.There is also stall space still available and also if anyone would like to particapate or have any ideas for events please contact Jacqui McVicker on 07873459260.

Finvoy rally

FINVOY Vintage Rally and Fun Day is being held on Saturday, September 24 from 11am to 4pm.

On display will be motorbikes, ars, tractors, lorries and stationary engines. There will also be line dancing, a car boot sale, hot food plus lots more stalls.

The field has been kindly donated by the Rea Family, Finvoy and the Hall kindly donated by the Finvoy Presbyterian Committee. Proceeds are in aid of Love Your Lungs, Breath Easy Causeway.

Piping classes

The Kingdom of Dalriada Ulster Scots Society is pleased to announce that Piping and Pipe drumming tuition classes started again last Monday in the Ullans Centre from 7pm to 9pm.

New beginners are still very welcome to attend, regardless of age or ability and the tuition is provided by world class musicians, both of whom have received many awards and are used by the Ulster Scots Agency in schools and at events during the year.

All Tutors employed by the Kingdom of Dalriada Ulster Scots Society have been Access NI checked and approved. Anyone who would like more information on the classes, please contact the Ullans Centre on 028 276 68897.

One Woman

‘Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know’, is a new piece of comic theatre by multi-award winning playwright Rona Munro. It will be performed by award winning actress Fiona Knowles in Sheskburn House, Ballycastle for one night only!

The play is a story of One Woman Growing Old Disgracefully, One Woman not Growing Old at all and one…very Scary Child! May is 60 now, likes salsa dancing and is having a ball!  Matti is still a child and likes slugs, Mia is glamorous, ageless and maybe a little bit …dangerous to know?

Families, Friendships and pure Fantasy combine in the latest ONE WOMAN comedy drama from The MsFits, which will be enjoyed by anyone and especially by women of a certain age!

The play is on Thursday 22 September, 2011 in Sheskburn House, 7 Mary Street, Ballycastle at 8pm.Tickets are £6/£5(concs).Advance purchase of tickets is recommended. Quiz

Quadrangle Productions are holding a fundraising quiz on Friday 23rd September in the Anzac Bar, Ballycastle, at 8pm.

There will be prizes for first, second and third place quiz winners.

Scots concert

An Ulster Scots concert is to be held in Lavin Orange Hall on Thursday, September 29.

Doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm start. Performers on stage will include Skullduggery.
