Games night

BALLYMONEY Renewal Group is holding a Games Night.

The event will take place at Ballymaconnelly Orange Hall this Friday (July 27) at 7.30pm.

Car boot

PORTBALLINTRAE Residents’ Association is holding a car boot sale on Saturday, July 21 from 10.30am to 2pm.

Doors open for sellers only at 9.30.

It’s £5 entry for cars and £10 for vans and cars with trailers.

There are a limited number of tables available for hire and space is limited so book your place now by calling Fran at 028 2073 1868.

Refreshments will be available and all money raised will go towards much needed services in the village.

display

WEDNESDAY, July 25 there’s a Classic motorcycle display and run at the Armoy Races.

Meet at 6pm in Armoy Village.

Meanwhile on Thursday, July 26, Ballymoney Old Vehicle Club will host a car display and run at Armoy Races.

Meet at 3pm in Armoy Village.

Movie Night

This Thursday (July 26) Ballymoney Town Hall (7.30pm) will be shoing on the Big Screen the 1953 classic musical Kiss Me Kate.

A tangled twosome, So In Love despite her ‘I hate men’ flashpoints. It’s Too Darn Hot!!

Armoy Festival

This Friday and Saturday the Armoy Motorcycle Road Race Festival will be held featuring the Jubilee Classic Race, sponsored by Ballymoney Borough Council.

Band thanks

VOW Accordion Band would like to thank the local community and bands which supported them at their annual parade held on June 13.

A total of £1,204.91 was raised.

Flute classes

BALLYMACONNELLY Sons of Conquerors Flute Band is holding classes in both flute and drum.

Classes are every Monday night from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Ballymaconnelly Orange Hall on the Vow Road.

Everybody is welcome to attend and all capabilities will be cater for. This tuition project has been funded by the Ulster Scots Agency.

Lambeg tuition

BALLYMACONNELLY Renewal Group is holding tuition classes in both fife and lambeg drumming.

Everybody is welcome to come along and all standards from beginners to advanced players will be catered for.

Classes are on a Thursday night from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Ballymaconnelly Orange Hall on the Vow Road.
