Garden Fete

THE Model Care Home is holding a Summer Garden Fete on Saturday, August 6 from 1.30pm to 4pm.

On offer will be music, stalls, bouncy castle, bbq and a car boot sale.

Come along and join the fun. Everyone welcome.

Boot re-located

THE car boot sale scheduled for Lucky’s bingo Ballycastle this Saturday has been re-located to the car park of the gawn inn at silvercliffs holiday village on the clare road.

Family Fun day

Castle Youth Club, Ballymoney are holding a Family Fun Day on Saturday 13th August, 12pm - 5pm at Castle St carpark.

Bouncy castle, bungee run, penalty kick, welly throwing, glamorous gran + bonny baby competition, BBQ, and more. Everyone welcome.

Historical Tours

Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee continues its summer programme of Historical Tours on Saturday 13 August, well-known archaeologist and author Jon Marshall, will lead a bus tour of important, seldom visited historical sites in the Ballymoney area.

This is the perfect introduction to the ancient heritage in our landscape and a chance to discover more about Stone Age tombs, ring forts, mottes, old graveyards and the people who populated this region during the last few thousand years. This tour takes place from 10.30am-4.30pm and tickets are £10 including lunch.

There are a maximum number of 30 tickets available for all of these tours so booking is advisable. Tickets are available from Tourist Information at the Town Hall 028 2766 0230.

Charity dance

FRIENDS of the MRI Scanner Appeal are holding a charity dance.

The event will take place in McLaughlin’s Corner, Kilrea on Friday, August 12. Doors open at 8pm with dancing till late.

Music by Knoxville Country. Admission £5. This is going to be a night to remember.
