Gemini Hair & Beauty crowned Salon of Year

Proprietor Louise Murphy said she was “delighted and overwhelmed” to have won the award.

“We have been open just over five years and to win this award shows just how much support we receive from all our clients we have built up over this time,” Louise said.

She added: “We pride ourselves in offering high standard hair and beauty treatments at affordable prices. All the staff at Gemini are constantly attending courses and training seminars so that we can continue to offer the most recent and up to date treatments as well as the everyday favourites.”

Due to a continual rise in clientele, the salon’s stylists have taken the opportunity to expand into the beauty side of things.

Hayleigh Minshall and Essen Shiels are now doing nails and Essen is also in the processs of completing her beauty therapy training, while Leoni Savage has just completed her spray tanning course with He Shi and is working towards her masters degree with the Alfaparf academy to further her hairdressing skills.

All the staff at Gemini would like to welcome Amy Johnston to the team. Amy offers a wide range of beauty treatments including waxing, tinting, ear piercing, gelish, acrylics, facials, tans, pedicures. She specialises in bridal/formal make up and advanced nail art.

Amy is in the process of doing additional training to bring a lot of new exciting treatments such as HD brows, LVL lashes, intimate waxing and many more.

Louise added: “I would like to take the opportunity to thank all my clients for their kind gifts and well wishes on the run up to my wedding, it was very much appreciated by myself and my husband. I am now back to my normal working hours and look forward to seeing you all soon.
