Get your dog micro chipped for FREE!

NEW legislation now makes it compulsory for dog owners to have their dog micro chipped in order to obtain a dog licence.

Coleraine Borough Council has invited the Dogs Trust to tour the Borough of Coleraine next month with its ‘chip van’, offering free microchips for all dogs.

The Dogs Trust van will tour the Borough during the week beginning July 16, 2012.

To take advantage of the free microchips simply visit the micro-chipping team at any of the following destinations:

Monday 16th July 2012 Car park in Garvagh - 10am to 12noon; Town Hall, Kilrea - 1pm to 3pm

Tuesday 17th July 2012 Peter Thompson Hall Castlerock - 10am to 12noon; Grahams kennels, Articlave - 1pm to 3pm

Wednesday 18th July 2012 Crescent in Portstewart - 10am to 12noon; Dunluce centre car park , Portrush - 1pm to 3pm

Thursday 19th July 2012 Harpurs Hill Community Centre - 10am to 12noon; Windy Hall Community Centre - 1pm to 3pm

Friday 20th July 2012 Ballysally Community Centre - 10am to 3pm.
