Girls crowned U12 dance champions

Pupils from the Maginn School of Irish Dancing are very proud of their huge achievements at the Ulster Dancing Championships which took place in the Armagh City Hotel last week.

The girls were delighted to be crowned Under 12 Invented Dance Champions for the second year running and were also runners up in the U14 age group in the same category and runners up in the Under 16 Freestyle category.

There were over 4500 competitors from all over the province and the Maginn school pupils were delighted to bring home a total of 79 Ulster medals, a massive achievement and reward for all the very hard work and practice which has been ongoing for months.

The Maginn School of Dancing are also very proud to welcome three new teachers to their classes, Cliodhna McDaid, Niamh McDaid and Aoife Carlin.

The girls who are past pupils of the Maginn School graduated this summer with their Diplomas in Irish Dance.
