Almost Home Animal Rescue NI, based in Moira, was founded in 2013 by a small group of dedicated volunteers.

The charity rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes animals, which include a majority of dogs, with cats and small furry animals, too.

Their aim is to work with the various dog pounds and welfare organisations to help lower the destruction rate in Northern Ireland. They also take in voluntary surrenders.
