Glenarm Beltex breeders take Reserve Champion title

The O’Neill family from Glenarm had a ‘champion’ day at the recent Irish Beltex Sheep Breeders Club Show and Sale held at Omagh Mart, taking the Reserve Champion title with a very well proportioned Shearling ewe, Lagyveagh Well Dressed.

In the sales ring the Shearling ewe went on to make 800gns, the second highest price on the day.

The success at Omagh follows on from a Supreme Championship title picked up by another Shearling ewe bred by the O’Neill’s, Lagyveagh Weather Girl, at the Dungannon Show and Sale, which was held at the end of August.
