Guinness Amplify coming to a pub near you

Earlier this summer, Guinness unveiled a new exciting music programme with the launch of Guinness Amplify.

Guinness Amplify will connect the freshest new music talent with audiences all over Ireland, as well as providing them with some of the resources and expertise they need to help them along the way.

Over 800 acts applied online and publicans all over Ireland have started selecting bands to perform live pub gigs at Guinness Amplify Live throughout September and October.

The regional live gigs kicked off in Leinster on last weekend and will rotate around Ireland, focusing on a different region each week over the course of the five weekends.

Some great emerging artists are set to perform in Co Antrim pubs with Lorcan Falls booked to play in Dobbins Inn Hotel, Carrickfergus, Dem Fools to play Ownies, Carrickfergus and Crow Black Chicken to play in Atlantic Bar, Portrush.

The latter performance will be this Saturday, September 20 from 9.30pm.

The other local gigs are: Sunday, September 21, Atlantic Bar, The Sons Of Robert Mitchum (9pm); The Port Hotel, Portrush, Lauren Bird (9pm); and The Scenic Inn, Armoy, Bleed’N Cowboys (9pm).

There will also be a few surprises along the way, with some of the biggest names in music turning up to perform in pubs across Ireland.

To date the line-up include;Kodaline, Ellie Goulding, Walking On Cars and Daithi, Bastille, Disclosure and Jess Glynne. New to the line-up today is; Hozier, London Grammar, Rudimental, Duke Dumont, George Ezra and Dan Croll.
