The Harvest Mission at Cuningham Memorial Presbyterian Church, which began on Sunday, is going extremely well.

It will run for 12 nights at 8pm each week night, with 11.30am and 8pm services on Sunday, October 18, and the concluding service on Friday, October 23.

Guest speaker will be the Very Rev Dr David McGaughey, minister emeritus of Mourne Presbyterian Church, who this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of his ordination.

A gifted expositor of the gospel and a passionate evangelist, Dr McGaughey has taken ‘Shaped by the Word of God’ as his theme for the Mission.

There will be special items of praise at each Mission service and these will be presented on different nights by Cuningham’s own Congregational Choir, Men’s Fellowship Choir and Youth Choir.

The congregation are also delighted that on the two Friday nights, special praise items will respectively be presented by Tullyallen and Mountnorris Men’s Choir and the Ballymena Presbytery Choir.

David and Edith Reid will be singing on Tuesday, October 13, and Matthew Crawford will sing on Tuesday, October 20.

For young people of year eight and above there will be two ‘Switch’ youth events on Saturdays, October 17 and 24, from 4pm–9-30pm and these will include, Sports Hut, Dinner & Worship with Brian Kee, current assistant minister in Carryduff Presbyterian Church, the special speaker.
