HEALTH: Want to take part in a soya study?

Volunteers are being sought for study to evaluate the effect of consuming soya foods on the memory, health and wellbeing of postmenopausal women.

The study, which is sponsored by the Alpro Foundation, will take place within the Northern Ireland Centre for Food and Health (NICHE) and the Psychology Research Institute at Ulster University, Coleraine.

You will be asked to consume soya foods providing various amounts of isoflavones for 12 weeks.

You will be required to attend a screening appointment and 2 further appointments, one before and one after the soya food intervention.

You will be asked to undertake computerised tests to assess your cognitive function and to complete some questionnaires on your lifestyle and health and well-being.
